Cellular Manufacturing Training Course

A one day cellular manufacturing training course ideally suited to production supervisors/managers, production and process engineers and other parties interested in maximising the efficiency of their manufacturing operation.

  • Comparison of Batch & Queue vs.Cellular Manufacturing
  • Current State Analysis – Cycle Times, Takt Time and Throughout
  • How to plan and design a Cell Manufacturing strategy
  • Cell Types – U Shaped Cells/Parallel Cells
  • Contingencies – Check and Balance
  • High Volume Single Piece Flow
  • High Mix, low volume Production
  • Pull Vs. Push
  • Zero Quality Control – Source Inspection, Successive Checking & Poka Yoke
  • Kaizen (Continuous Improvement Activities)
  • Visual Process Measurement and Management
  • Why other lean tools are vital to a successful cell manufacturing strategy
  • Project Implementation & Review

Courses are limited to a maximum of twelve delegates. Course costs cover the training sessions, a comprehensive set of course notes, lunch, refreshments and an attendance certificate.
